Senior Congress leader and former Maharashtra CM Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar passed away in Pune on Wednesday reportedly after a brief illness at the age of 89. As per the reports, he recently tested positive for coronavirus but had recovered and was discharged after testing negative. Nilangekar served as the state's Chief Minister from June 1985 to March 1986.
