Jamia Millia Islamia has submitted an estimate of property damage worth ₹2.66 crore which "occurred due to Delhi Police action on December 15" to Ministry of Human Resource Development. While Jamia alleged that police entered without permission, police claimed they were in pursuit of "rioters" and entered the premises as a result. The estimate includes 25 CCTVs worth ₹4.75 lakh.
