Pakistani astronaut Namira Salim has congratulated India and ISRO for the "historic attempt" to make a soft landing on the south pole of the Moon. "The Chandrayaan-2 mission is indeed a giant leap that makes the global space industry proud," she said. "No matter which nation leads, in space, all political boundaries dissolve," she further said.
