Subway Co-founder and nuclear physicist Peter Buck passes away aged 90

Peter Buck, the nuclear physicist who co-founded Subway restaurants, has passed away at the age of 90. "Dr Buck made a lasting impact, leaving behind a spirit of hard work & dedication across nearly 40,000 locations. His legacy continues through Subway, a brand he worked hard to build," the restaurant chain tweeted. The cause of his death hasn't been revealed.
